The team

Three lawyers, on one side

We represent workers only. Never employers, never management, never the company's side of a dispute.

  • Graciela Carrizal, smiling, in a white blazer against a pale peach backdrop

    Graciela Carrizal

    Founding partner

Started the firm after years on the other side of the table. Takes most of the pay and retaliation cases.

  • Boone Hockaday in a grey jacket and open-collared shirt against a warm peach backdrop

Handles firings, severance and the cases that end up in court. Plain about the odds.

  • Joaquín Villalpando in a navy blazer and white shirt against a pale peach backdrop

Works the discrimination and harassment cases, and answers most first calls and texts.

How the work gets split

Every case has one lawyer who answers for it, and you'll know who that is from the first week. The other two read the file before anything big goes out.

Pay and retaliation cases mostly go to Graciela, firings and severance to Boone, discrimination and harassment to Joaquín. When a case is all three, and plenty are, it gets all three.
